The Multiverse Gift Set Box was released in November 1996. Featuring a mix of boosters from different sets in different languages, it was the first box to emphasize the international aspect of Magic. Additionally it offered a unique possibility to have a look at a future Magic set three months before it was released. The Multiverse Gift Box contains:
  • 2 special Visions preview booster packs each containing 15 Visions cards
  • 1 standard French Homelands booster pack
  • 1 standard Italian Alliances booster pack
  • 1 standard German Renaissance booster pack
  • 1 standard Japanese Chronicles booster pack
10 of the 30 Visions cards differ slightly from standard Visions cards which qualifies them as unique cards.
