***** I love this mono black thing

***** This card is great, black needed a wrath of god. Coupled with all of the other killer black cards in torment I honestly think this card will become a focus for many decks.

***** This is the best card ever but i don't use it very much its the best card ever i got it from a torment pack in one try.

*** this is a good card but not the best in the set, grim lavamancer is the best followed by nantuko shade. this is still a great card but it costs a little much.

***** Not much to say about this card. Other than its possibly the best creature destruction ever. Four mana, clear the board, sounds like Wrath of God for black, no?

***** aside from mutilate ruling nantuko hade is a hell of a lot better than grim lavamancer

**** play with four of these in my monoblack 1.5 deck. awesome art and a bit creepy and chilling too. actually don't enjoy looking at the art too much as it hits a bit of nerve(don't ask me why, i'm all grown up). get tired of people saying its the,"black 'wrath of god'." well, not quite. if you can 'wrath of god' second or third turn, its going to kill pretty much everything. if you 'dark ritual' out a 'mutilate' second turn, that may not be the same scenario. that being said i like the negative counters(or -x/-x if you prefer) that the spell gives out which may be better in some situations('march of the machine' decks primarily). just have to carefully watch your land distribution and make sure you have enough 'swamp's in your deck for what you want to do and the metagame.............

***** an extremely good card... the only reason i would run this over damnation though is because of stuffy doll and the fact that its about 16$ less than damnation. so i will- note the fact that they both cast 4- they both cant be regenerated from- which means they are actually one of the few cards in the game that can accompish the task that most extended decks can not do- kill troll ascetic. black is rather good at killing troll though. I run 3 in my mono black control deck. constructed : 5 stars limited : 3 stars art (imo) : 1 stars review by :phil

**** Seems like all you have to do is have a Nightmare with Unholy Strength or something else to give it +1 toughness, and you're pretty much set.
