This is an excellent figure with awsome abilities he can really work if you have a levitator to move him into battle and when you do he can kick butt. Also he can take care of himself and with sweep attack you can take out most enemies but the only problem is if he dies you lose quite a bit with him costing a 130 points. -- By from Frisco Texas on June 08, 2002 |

My gate lord got in a fight with a dog so his sword is gone and his left wing is mutilated, but i still use him in my army every time. He has sweep with 14 attack so he can take out the big guys. His invulnerability gives him a great defense from a range. And with 5 damage he can destroy many strong figures. And lastly his 10 speed with flight gives him excelent mobility. He is great to use in any army and I highly recomend that you buy a Gate Lord or trade for him. -- By Bryce Theby from St. Louis, MO USA on August 16, 2005 |

The Gate Lord, they should call it the mage spawn lord. It is one of the best mage knight melee figures that has existed. With invulnerability, great endurance, a very good attack(14), good mobility and 5 of damage with sweep, it can destroy complete formations, generals and heroes. If you see it in an army or in the dungeon it is better to run than to fight with it. -- By Anonymous from Mexico City on December 23, 2005 |

The Gate Lord is a figure you can throw into combat without worry. Invulnerability, Toughness, and 11 (max) clicks of health means the Gate Lord is can and will destroy any and all opponents that come into base contact. The tormentor and the Orc Captain are faster, but when the Gate Lord gets in, he is simply the best. Sweep away. -- By Anonymous from Cleveland, Ohio on August 14, 2008 |
