*** ....decent with 'buried alive' and a dual land such as 'badlands' in play. oh yeah, i'm talking about my attempts at making a reanimation deck great. anyway, the "haste" mechanic has always been one that players have tried to abuse over the years, this "incarnation" being no exception. i've personally only played him in reanimation type decks. i'd always try to go for maximum abuse with cards like 'nichol bolas' or 'blade the risen'(hope i got that right, maybe its 'bladewing...' or 'quickblade....')but is was always a dicey proposition. just like reanimation decks themselves i suppose. my actual best combo was often with a second turn 'vampire hounds' (with 'city of traitors' or 'dark ritual') and then attack second turn with a 4/4 or 6/6(of course 'anger' being one of the creatures discarded). of course, getting something like that second turn was hard. but it was just as good later in the game too. and you can do it with other creatures like 'hidden horror' or as another reviewer i believe pointed out, 'wild mongrel.' really cool looking card and the foil looks even better. in conclusion, recommend for anyone above novice level for a bit of fun.................

***** Anger is a hot card. Officially. Look at illustration, man. He's just like "hut hut im gonna kill you with my haste powers! Y'all be my first mate!" Hes a good card. entomb + anger = :D

**** sweet in a fast r/g beatdown. Turn one, rootwalla. Turn 2, wild mongrel, and discard anger. If you have a mountain in play, mongrel will be a 3/3 with haste.

**** Anger makes your opponents angry. With all the discarding abilities provided in the newest three expansions it is easy to get this into your graveyard, but if you have it in play your opponent will pay a price for blocking it. If you get this card in play then your opponent is in a lose-lose situation.
