**** very nice, but why would a dwarf legend help barbarians...and not dwarves?

***** Think of this: 1st turn: Play a swamp 2nd turn: Play another swamp 3rd turn: Play any land and play Buried Alive and get 3 Laquatus's Champion andthrow them in the graveyard 4th turn: Play Balthor The Defiled 5th turn: Attack with Balthor for 2 dmg, then play His ability

**** He would be very good in my barabrian deck but still my friend has a better combo with balthor the defiled with moral shift and then remove balthor the defiled from the game but because of morale shift all of your creatures in your deck would be in play so I don't know wicth is better

***** Play his ability after you have played Morality Shift. I got 20 creatures in to play for three black mana!!

***** This is the greatest single card to have in a reanimate deck. Especially when paired up with four burried alives, strong creatures (hypnox, spirit of the night, baron sengir, vampire sengir, etc.), three insidious dreams, and four dark rituals. You'll also need threshold and a few cabal rituals. EX. Turn 1: land, dark ritual, burried alive, bury three hypnoxes Turn 2: land, dark ritual, insidious dreams, look for balthor the defiled, another burried alive, and if you don't have it in hand, cabal ritual. When you use insidious dreams, discard all creature cards you have in your hand. (BTW, If you have threshold from the first burried alive and insidious dreams plus the discarded cards, you don't need another buried alive, though if you want to get more creatures in play and don't mind waiting another few turns, go ahead and search.) Turn 3+: I you have threshold, and you have three hypnoxes or better, in the graveyard or you feel you have enough kick butt creatures in your graveyard, use cabal ritual, gain seven mana, play balthor the defiled for four, use his ability for three, and you will now have THREE HYPNOXES IN PLAY AND MORE. So what if your oponent has his hand. The only way he or she can stop you now is if they have armergedon (white, destroys all creatures). turn 4: attack, watch your opponent scream in pain.

**** Wow! what a great card in a deck with minions. Though Phage, the untouchable is a minion and a very deadly one, you'd probably prefer it in your opponents graveyard best, even more than you'd want it under your control when you've got this card out

***** this is a very crazy card, if you know when to use it. Normally i use this card in my zombie deck because the zombies always need to get out of the grave. My strategy is to destroy my own zombies, of course , destroying at the same my opponent´s monsters. Then, when i have enough zombies in my graveyard i ccan return my beautiful warchiefs and of courso vengeful dead, and maybe you want to put in your deck some infest to a more deadful fight. Be good boys with the greatest Balthor.

** i think this is not at all a good card. i mean why should i use it in my deck? why all the red cards keep changing colours?

-- By Nick diamantis from athens greece on September 06, 2006
***** This is my favorite combo-Play Conspiricy, turn everything in your deck into spirits, then play iname, death aspect, put all your creatures into graveyard, then use balthor to bring them all into play.
