**** A 5/5 flying Avatar of Woe imitation huh? I say it's pretty awesome. It's a much more updated version of the older card, in this case simpler. Now that Terminates and others roam the casual and tournament grounds, Visara isn't almighty in today's Type II environment like Avatar of Woe was in 2000. This makes it fair for opponents to face it. Yet, I didn't rate it 5 stars because I personally prefer the original prophecy Avatars, but not for the abnormal ways to get them out cheaper. Also, Visara is an odd name. P.S.: I viewed a different picture from another source because the picture here was a bit too small to read.

***** Ok well this is just plain cheap lol. It has absolutly no downside, and a 5/5 flyer for 6 mana is already a good creature. But then u add about the best ability in the game to it, and have it be black...lol. Sure makes avatar of woe look lika fruit cake... not like i care tho, i hava royal assassin and a icy manipulator. =D

***** now this is what i'm talking about.tap to destrot anything i want to. avatar of woe's leader has just entered the building. 4 avatar of woe with visara, you do the math.how would you like to see 5 fatties lay dead at your feet without lifting a finger.i have decided she is not really a game finisher. she is a creature that helps get creatures out the way so big creatures such as hypnox can do their job.

***** Alright, this card is just plain stupid. I mean, a 5/5 flyer for 6 is very good just as it is, but add in the fact that it just flat out kills anything, and i mean anything, nothing is safe around this chick, just makes it stupidly broken. I have yet to play against one, but its a match that im not going to be looking forward to!

** Great Card! Cheap, but great not so great if your opponent has Sigil of the New Dawn or shackles.

***** Hey Review 6 its not any card idiot its just a creature. But anyways this card is good, it needs haste though.

***** i like it, but if it costed less i would like it better, even if it had a drawback. (kinda like grinning demon: fatty for four, but lose two life a turn)

***** You guys are missing one flaw. It's not a big flaw, but it's a flaw. I have a creature called Phantom Centaur which has protection from black. Visara can't kill creatures with protection. That flaw's still too little to worry over, so rock on, Visara.

**** This card is a must have in a black deck. Bring it out turn four with a zombify, and then they cant do much about it. Then once you break out a chainer/bonedancer/gravespawn sovereign, you can destroy their creatures and take them for yourself.

*** Foiled version is bad =P

***** Best card of the onslaught block and better than the avatar,in my opinion.

**** this could be a very good addition to your deck ecspeccialy going up against like a trample deck... the mana cost could be very cheap especially with dark rituals so you can get it out earlier in the game I have only ranked this four stars because I feel that Avatar of Woe has something to offer that this doesnt avatar of woe can be brought into play for two swamps if there are ten or more creatures in all graveyards

***** Great card. It's close to Avatar of Woe, but it's a legend. But then again what are the chances of getting 2 avatars out in one game. This is one of the cards that make black fun to play.

**** I like her. She is powerful and has that destroy almost anything ability. I played against her and she is very hard to beat coz good killing spells like terror and dark banishing doesnt work against her.
-- By Magic fan from Lulea, Norbotten Sweden on March 12, 2005
**** Come on goys, She is a 5/5 flying, tap : destroy target creature, it cant be regenereted for only 6 mana. Just becaus avatar of woe is a bid better you forget she is a killer machine!
-- By Jonathan Lyngsų from Master land on July 07, 2005
**** She's got a good casting cost for what she does, and Visara the Dreadful allows for quite a bit of control over your opponent and what creatures he decides to bring out. You play her ability during his after-combat phase to kill off whatever he just summoned while she is available to be used defensively beforehand. You could do that, or you can just use her to beat your opponent into defeat in four turns. All you need to do is bring a Rag Man out, and your control over your opponent gets even better. Rag Man will hunt monsters your opponent hasn't summoned yet, and Visara is ready to kill the ones that do make it to the table. Exquisite.

***** Play her in a land heavy deck with Staff of Domination and you could really rock someone
-- By Wade from NJ on December 16, 2007
**** Visara is amazing. And cheaper than Avatar of Woe. But before you go writing Woe off, remember one thing.....Avatar of Woe is NOT legendary. Play one damnation, dump woe out for 2 black mana, then clone her in a black/blue deck. Next step? Watch your opponents cry....lol

***** Thornbite staff... What fun...
