If you're playing properly, nothing with flying will ever last more than one turn with this bug in play. It's also got a pretty good casting cost and can hold off that awful Akroma Angel of Wrath if you don't have the mana to blow her out of the sky yet. It's a lovely card that should grace any Green deck quite nicely, as Green's defense against flying is otherwise lacking.

What a great answer to Akroma! Any green deck can use some defense against fliers! Especially in the type 2 format..... Dump a mythic proportions on this bad boy and watch the feathers fly!

my hat is off to this card. any creature that can take my hypnox and devouring strossus down is a great card.(Sniffle).the sad thing is can take them both down in the same turn.elves,elvish guidance and this is going to be tough to go against with fliers.that is why they should make a rplica of plague wind and reduce the casting cost.(HaHa).
