At first glance I thought, oooh, Ravenloft Audio CD adventure! The group would probably like this twist on roleplaying. So I purchased it at full price and opened the box on the way home to Canada on my chicks' Mustang. She didn't like D&D so much mainly because I DM'd a lot, regardless of that I placed the CD into the player and started checking out the tracks.
The track materials are top notch and in 2.1 surround or better, haven't tried this on 5.1 but I'm sure it'll place well in the game, er I mean, geek room. If you love Ravenloft adventures then this is a must have, The adventure isn't easy, nor is it filled with many combat encounters but don't let that stop you from placing your own cruel intentions. Overall this adventure is a scavenger hunt and its storyline is well done, what I would suggest is adding your own touches to enhance the experience of this manor house.
This is one AD&D adventure that should be in your collection. -- By Frank Molley Jr from Listuguj, Canada on April 09, 2008 |
