This deck was my first one and it is great.
It is pretty fast with nothing above mana cost 4 (unless you pay kicker) and with several "bounce" spells. It is effective at making your opponent discard as well. The included guide gives some good combos, but here is one I found myself. It is costly, but effective if you can attack your opponent at the same time.
Wait until your opponent has no cards in hand (or make them discard) and then make sure you have Vodalian Hypnotist and Nightscape Apprentice on the field. Play Urborg Emissary from your hand, paying the kicker cost to return an opponent's permanent to their hand. Then use Vodalian Hypnotist to make them discard it. Finally, use Nightscape Apprentice to put Urborg Emissary on top of your library, so next turn you can destroy another permanent. This combo costs 9 mana total (5 for the emmissary with kicker, 3 for the hypnotist, and 1 for the apprentice) but it is fairly successful at destroying your opponent's permanents. If you have a few creatures out that can deal damage while you use this combo at the very least you can stall your opponent. Unfortunately, though, you only get one copy each of those creatures in the deck, and it is pretty hard to have all of them, not to mention the mana needed.
Even without this combo, the deck is effective, especially against decks without strong flyers. Duskwalker, which has fear with the kicker, can also do some damage as well.

Excellent deck, it controls the field and you can put out creatures quickly or wait to pay the kicker costs. The only problem is there is not enough flyers and there is no creature resurrection, however these sometimes are not needed due to the many counter spells you get. Overall this is one solid deck that is worth buying.
