This Mothra Plush has realistic antennas.I think he's a good toy. Most of his face is hairy and fluffy. -- By George from Virginia on January 29, 2005 |

This is a real good plush now if they made a medium and small Mothra Larva plush and a Mechagodzilla plush we would have the whole team from Godzilla Tokyo SOS. -- By Antonio Casuso from Miami FL USA on June 13, 2005 |

I really loved my Godzilla plush, but there was a problem with it that I'm afraid the Mothra plush has also suffered from. If you look at the actual product and then go online and find a picture of it, you may find yourself very disappointed.
The plush version of Mothra is lop-sided and has bad colorations on its face. The picture displayed here, however, shows that It is perfectly symetrical with nice coloring and a head that isn't lop-sided. Perhaps I somehow got a bootleg one, but I doubt it, because I ordered here. If any of you reading this have the toy and it looks exactly like the one in the picture here, please tell me. I would like to know if I have a cruddy one.
Now then, onto the real review. This is based upon the GMK Mothra, which is cool to me because usually toys seem to be based around the Heisei Mothra. It has lovely wings with vibrant colors, it has great, purple eyes that are lop-sided, unfortunately. The material for the body is undesirable. I think that they shoud've stayed with Goji's fabric for Mothra's body.
Not much else to say about it. But if you get this, be warned: It doesn't look as good in person as it does here. -- By Brianzilla2003 from Folsom, CA USA on July 13, 2005 |
