I purchased one of these little guys several months ago, intending to stash it away for several months as a future gift for my older sister who collects all kinds of things 'dragon'. She has some beautiful and expensive figurines and sculpture unique, but the day I handed her this little red beast, she had that wonderful look of a child in her eyes. She touched him all over, examined his wings and his teeth, then tucked him safely away under a crossed forearm. She had an emergency surgery the day before and I gave her gift several months ahead of my schedule.
I also examined this little guy from fang to tail tip, admired the detail and the excellent job on the seams as they were all tight and straight. Lots of detail, and good workmanship on all of its little body. I don't think I would normally call this plush something to lay in bed and cuddle, but for a dragon fan, he is just the right thing. My sister is not a child by the way, she is a middle school teacher, a former teacher of the year, happily married and will have birthday number sixty later this year. This well made plush is just the thing for dragon lovers of any age. Go ahead and get one for that special some one for Valentine's Day. It's red, its a plush, and it has fangs; what more could any one want? -- By PJ from Minneapolis, MN USA on January 07, 2008 |
