My six year old won't touch it. He says it has too many eyes. -- By Briana from Kingwood Texas USA on April 30, 2004 |

I LOVE SHOGGOTH! It's surpisingly cuddly and easy to hug. It was the store mascot at my local gaming store, and winners of Warhammer Tournies would often wear it as a hat...until I bought it! -- By Jaime Serbin from Rockville, MD USA on May 14, 2004 |

In an offchance I was in a store on South St. called "Digital Ferret" while a friend of mine looked for some old obscure IDM records. I was looking at the back wall of the store when much to my surprise and joy, I spotted Cthulu sitting on one of the shelves. I was like "holy crap! that's a Cthulu stuffed animal!!" and I ran to look at it. And what did I spy sitting next to it? The Shugoth plush as well! Shuggoth is increadibly cute and cuddly in the way that beany baby's are cuddly.
It's very soft, and despite it's numerous eyes, it's not at all awkward or uncomfortable to hold. it's EXTREMELY well made, with a beautiful attention to detail. the stitching is immaculate, and it manages to maintain a dignified elder god look while being adorable and cuddly. Shoggoth is a definite must have, whether you're adorning your bedroom, looking for a bedtime buddy, or mennacing your children's sleep.
Cthulu and Shuggoth make great cuddle buddies for sleepytime, where they can insidiously fill your mind with dread while you sleep. a real winner in my book. -- By Alyssa from Philadelphia on June 26, 2004 |

Looks more like an elder thing without the barrel body... but nevertheless cute. -- By Anonymous from Canada on July 26, 2006 |

Shoggoth is very cute and cuddly, but I was surprised at it's weight compaired to Cthulhu. I've bought him for my boyfriend's Christmas present though and I get the impression he will be well received. -- By Nataku from England on September 19, 2006 |

My flatmates did not know what to make of the Shoggoth plushie that I bought for my boyfriend for Christmas. I wish I'd kept it for myself though. Though heavy, it was surprisingly cute and cuddly. Who wouldn't want their very own eldrich horror to snuggle up to in bed? -- By Nataku from England on December 14, 2006 |
