lets put it this way name a deck minus any mono colored deck that doesn't run non basic land this card can own most decks -- By Anonymous from Charlotte, NC usa on August 28, 2006 |

This card has very few failings, which is really just tied into the fact that mono-colored decks will laugh at this card but even then, more and more people are running urza's factory and desert so it can still hurt them. As well that aren't that many mono decks to make running this card in say an all goblin deck not worth your time. And if no one gets what i'm saying, just put it this way, Goblin King+Blood Moon = dead player. -- By Charles Burns from Mesquite, TX USA on November 10, 2006 |

I'd say this is a card primarily for tourney jocks, since tournament decks tend to run way more nonbasic lands than casual ones; in that case, Blood Moon nerfs any strategies they might have going with them. On the other hand, even casual players can appreciate Blood Moon's synergy with Goblin King. -- By Will B. Staples from Springfield, MA USA on May 25, 2008 |
