***** OMG I can't believe no one's suggested this card in a Nether Shadow deck. Nether Shadow, Ashen Ghoul, and burried alive. With Grave Pact and, Infernal Tribute drawing you a ton of cards every turn by sacking your Ghouls and Nether Shadows a this deck is nasty to begin with but now Death Pit Offering makes your little 1/1 Nether Shadows and 3/1 Ghouls 3/3 and 5/3. And the could potentially be as high as 9/9 and 12/9, sick. Death Pit Offering was tailor made for the Nether Shadow deck. You get selectivity for your creatures and it's +2/+2. I love this card.

***** Tap your one swamp to cast Blood Pet. Sack it for one mana. Use it to cast Dark Ritual. That only leaves you 3 mana in your pool you moron. Regardless, it is still possible first turn. Just add a Sol Ring to the mix, and not only is it on the board first turn, but if you cast it first you get to keep your blood pet. I'd rather just say screw the Blood Pet and have a 2/3 Will O the Wisp.

***** Use with Living Death and hope that they don't counter it.

**** Like to pull it out with Rotling Reanimator, Grave pact, lota clerics and mortuary. Mostly endgame strategy, if my decks is starting to slim down.

**** this and infernal genesis makes a good combo

***** its good if u play it really soon, as in before you play creatures.

**** there is the drawback, but you can overcome it with dark ritual 2nd turn.

***** the best for a rat deck because most rats are only 1-1 or 2-2 which will bost them up to a 3-3 and 4-4

*** shame about the cost, but after that, +2/+2 is a huge bonus.
