I absolutely love the darksteel set. It employs my favorite things, artifacts. Were it up to me, there would be an artifact set in every block; but I won't hold my breath

For the price, this isn't a bad box. My biggest problem was with the commons/uncommons. I got almost the exact same commons in every pack, with a few exceptions here and there, and numerous uncommons showed up in nearly every pack. I received a foil sword of light and shadow, memnarch, panoptic mirror, gemini engine, micosynth lattice, darksteel forge, darksteel reactor, wand of the elements, foil skullclamp, 2 ageless entity, and almost all of the pulses to name a few. Well worth the money. Would most definitely buy another.

Deadly Recluse

A great card for keeping your oponents in fear of loosing their best creatures. And one really great thing is its only 2 mana! And it can block pretty much any creature and when that creature is blocked its gone because of deadly recluse's deathtouch ability.

Simply Amazing
Played a lot with him on Duels of the Planeswalker 2015 and fell in love with this card so much that I had to order a foil one for my cube. It''s one of the only cards with a threat saying "Have to kill it!" the first few turns its out and then a few turns later become "Don''t kill it!"

The pen is mightier than the sword!
Look at all the wordy cards out there! Sure, you could rely on flying and shroud or something of the sort, but protection from wordy is even better. May your opponent painfully lose 2 life every turn with nothing in response.
Jace, the Mind Sculptor

Jace The Awe Yea Sculptor
The First and best planeswalker with 4 abilties with a free brainstorm, unsummon, fateseal and for his final ability 2 blow your mind and deck away! Personally have a playset myself from Worldwake and i still want more! If you need a planeswalker that can change a game this is the best one by far use him for any blue collection is my suggestion.
Trash for Treasure

Not just Artifact reanimation
Because sacrificing an artifact is part of the cost of playing Trash for Treasure, that artifact will already be in your graveyard when you have to select a target for the spell. This means you can abuse ETB/LTB triggers by sacrificing, say, Wurmcoil Engine to get two tokens, and then return it from the graveyard to the battlefield immediately afterwards.
