YINSH is a "tempestuous" game! The players each start with 5 rings on the board. Every time a ring is moved, it leaves a marker behind. Markers are white on one side and black on the other. When markers are jumped over by a ring they must be flipped, so theircolor is constantly changing. The players must try to form a row of 5 markers with their own face up. If a player succeeds in doing so, he removes one of his rings as an indication that he has formed such a row. The first player to remove 3 of his rings wins the game. In other words, each row you make brings you closer to victory-but also makes you weaker, because you have one less ring to play with. Very tricky!

***** Yinsh is a three phase game with deep strategy and very simple rules and gameplay. Two players, place five rings of their color on the intersections of the lines of an hex shaped board, then, each time a ring moves (only straight movement allowed) drops behind it a marker. Markers are black colored for one side and white for the other. When a ring passes over any marker or group of markers they become the opposite color. Each line of five markers of the same color, gives the player of that color the obligation of taking of one of it's own rings. The first player that completes three row is the winner but be careful, because the closest you are to the victory, the weaker you are. Yinsh is a delicious game to play, re-play and enjoy for decades!
