***** For more 2 mana I get a counterspell that can't be countered? Well...... Are you playing against a blue deck? Yes? Use this. Are you playing against a blue deck? No? Great sideboard card.

*** Hey I now what you are thinking... How can a card be that good, that cool and have such an amazing illustration. Simple, just take a look on Last Word!!! The best spell counter spell in the whole game! All I want to to say is that if you like blue power, you like Last Word! Simple innit?

*** Mostly a sideboard card, as in Mirrodin block, Type 2 (as of July 30th 2004) it's not that useful. In a mirror match of blue counterspell decks, however, it is an intriguing possibility. When your Morphling gets the Last Word in the pants, I'd like to see you come away without a little more respect for it.

*** Not very good since it require four mana to send out. 'Last Word' ought to be two to cast as it is a rare as it would show great differences to the 'counterspell' or compare to the 'mana drain'.

***** Just look at this card. The entire idea is awsome. "Counter target spell. This spell cannot be countered." The best part is the flavor text, though. The picture is nice too. The smug looking wizard standing in front of the explosion one can only assume to be "you".

**** A good sideboard card in type 2. For others Rewind is better unless it gets countered. Then again nothing beats a good Force of Will.

* This card is so bad but illustration's good. See, opponent casts a pyroclasm and I counter it with counterspell, he uses last word on my counterspell but then I play another counterspell countering the pyroclasm. It works with the "Stack"

**** Great sideboard card vs blue. I could even see this working in type 1, opponent is holding a counter and tries to hit you with a 20 point fireball, or a insanely stormed tendrils of despair. . .Nawww, I dont think so!
