* Dang, I still can't figure out how to pronounce the funky AE in AEther, wasted 2 hours searching for it. Anyway, not a very good card, last word costs the same in mana and actually has positive side effects. Vex is also better, costs less and just does an inevitable effect anyway (your opponent would have drawn the card during his next upkeep) confound can either make opponent tap all of his mana. Or if you recall counterspell, cheap, no side effect. Any one of these would be much better, so only play this if you are really, really desperate. gets 1 star because: So many better cards Mana cost Enemy brings creature to play for free Really awkward to say it when you play it cuz of AE Its ugly

*** for the person who first rated it, this card is fairly good. if you re-read it, it dosnt say you have to counter an oppents spell, you could counter yourself playing some simple card, in example playing a spell bomb or something cheap and easy, and bring out say any creature (in your hand *cough cough* a reallybig/reallybig) for say about 5mana... so its not to bad it all depends on the deck. it isnt worth being something to base a deck on to counter your own spell to bring out something big kinda risky to do that either way.

**** Good card in my opinion. Put it in a deck that has arcbound workers or ornithopters (something to that extent) and counter your own little creature to bring out something very useful for only 4 or 5 mana, or possibly if there is something evil your opponent is bringing out, you could use it as a last ditch effort to take it out before it does any damage. only 4 stars because 4 mana is kinda spendy in my opinion, even if it does get the darksteel collosis out easy.
