The book has a detailed description of Iceland in the Mythic Age. This includes history, geography, culture, law and society. There is also an overview of the various mythical inhabitants of the island, as well as information on how they fit in. There are some new traditions of magic that are unique to Iceland, and these are described thoroughly here. Finally there are two storylines or "Sagas" that you can play through or just use as reference material.
