***** An amazing card if you use it properly. Of course the proper use of the card doesn't include activating it against a deck with a lot of burns and hate cards when they have untapped lands. I use this for my land destruction deck which can keep their mana always tapped out. Im paying 2 mana for six damage, that is like double lightning bolts on a single card. If my land died, I usually play it back with Crucible of Worlds so I use it to chump block as well. You could use it on indestructable lands and have yourself a really cheap and really big creature.

**** Also you can use this card against an opponent with direct damage spells. Here is one combo Genju of Spires + Pyromantics = your opponent lossing one mana. Furthermore if you can get more than one Pyromatics + 2 or more Genju of Spires means the guy just lost 2 or more lands. This would also be good for a land destruction deck too.

**** I got this card in a pack. I loved it. the only porblem with it is agianst a red deck a small spark will kill it.

***** Durban is an idiot. use this to feed a terravore. Ping ur own lands if u want to. It'll pump ur terravore up hugely. In a terravore deck, if ur opponent pings it, it only works to ur advantage. I like to ping it myself with Jeska or Viridian longbow or the like. How long has Durban been playing? I've only just restarted playing and I am able to see these strategies. NINJAS RULE!

**** Grat card. hitting for 6 and the worst thing that will happen is that you lose a mountain. Crucible or worlds also helps. alot!

** This is one of my worst genju's. It get's all my lands killed! From the outside i thought this card would be a great hit, attacking for six damage a turn, but when i played it in a standard tournament, half my lands got destroyed, before i could even attack. Against a "red deck wins" or "burn, this card will die pathetically, basically being shot down before you can attack and losing a land in the process, against black, it gets destroyed very easilly with terror and even sickening shoal, while the other genju's are beefier and stronger to withhold such a spell. With blue the opponent tends to always bounce it and you end up losing your genju and a land drop and finally with white the opponent will simply remove it from the game or reciprocate - losing a land and your genju. This genju has certainly not made my any of my good books and i won't be excited to play it in many of my decks.
