I have this card and its insanly dissapointing. sure he can regenerate but. ONE LIFE. any damage becomes leathal from a souce not a monster card, last time i check there are plenty out there. vs ne one that has a card that deals one damage its over for him ~yamabushis flame 3 damage removed from play not graveyard~ -Shane
altho dont get me wrong. hes not bad but i would take Takeno and Konda Lord of Egainjo anyday of the week

This is what you call a god! It is extremly good, 2/1, Bushido 2, regenrate your samurais for three mana is so evil, and i like the art so much, this card truly get 5 stars, this is my favorite samurai!

Every samurai deck wants this guy. Now that Kentaro the Smiling Cat is available it's very easy to get Isao in play too. You don't even have to bother to use green mana sources... For only three mana you get a warrior who's a 4/3 most of the time and who lets you regenerate all your samurai. To me this is one of the best cards in the set and even in the block.
