**** I will defend Iwamori by saying that legendary creatures have become more uncommon lately. He's a big fat fatty for 4 mana, but the risk of an opponent dropping something like Iona is still puts Iwamori in a weak spot. Still, Iwamori makes for interesting play, and if your friends or the local Magic players aren't running many legendary creatures, Iwamori is still just about as good as he ever was.

*** I have to disagree. Its a cool card and without a doubt worth the cast cost but I think legends are more common in decks wether their new or old then you think wich brings us to the problem. Iwamori is not that good for a legend card and by playing him you could force a real monstrum on yourself and have nothing to sow for it but a 5/5 trample. The fact that this card is green which is the one colour that shouldent have problems getting powerful trample creatures out makes it even more expendible. To sum up, this card is a gamble that can put you slightly on top or way below so think twice before putting it in a deck. rock on dudes

**** This card is WAY underrated. Whenever people hear it's drawback, they think "Pah. What a bad card." But come on, especially against older decks, the chances of your opponents having a legend is slim. And if they do, it could be a Phage (which I think is overrated) or a Myojin or something. And then you get a 5/5 trampler for 4! C'mon, people.
