**** I'm sorry to tell you, but "Te" means "hand" - which means the the name of Neko-Te can be translated to "Cat-Hand", which we could assume would be more correctly translated to "Cat-Paw", since a paw is the "hand" of a cat. The Neko-Te is a great equipment, yet I don't think it should be rare, because there's still one thing i don't get: Why only 1 life?! why not 2 life instead? - that would at least have made a difference.. 1 life is nothing - it's essentially the same as beaing hit with an additional Raging Gobling, except that this "Gobling" has banding and can only die to artifact removal .. I love the first part of this equipment - the art is nice, and the creature lockdown also makes it a nice addition to taunt decks, but still.. the life loss ability is just there to fill in the blanks - even a Bonesplitter makes for a greater threat >_>

**** Very nice equipment. I know Neko means cat, I assume Te means claws. Kind of ironic as it goes right in my Cat Equipment deck. I use it along with Viridian Longbow, because it doesn't say "combat damage" like you would think it would.

***** This card is AMAZING. If it is used in a combo with taunting elf, the effects are devastating
