***** WOW this card is amazing, it goes AMAZING on anything with Shadow and turns my Nether Traitors into terrors in casual, even more so if you can give it double strike. Granted, it is expensive, but I found one in a stack of old cards I had, definitely worth it.

***** It's not overated.... it's ability say that when your equipped creature DEALS DAMAGE..! which means even you block the equipped creature, the Jitte still gain two counters!

-- By Anonymous from USA on March 09, 2011

*** It is good, but it is also WAY over-rated.

***** This equipment is too powerful. I run three in my casual deck with Bitter Blossom... my 1/1 flying faeries are nearly unstopable! Just bring Glorious Anthem and the tokens are enough to beat opponent by themselves.... also bring Duress, Toughtseize, and Hymn to turn the opponent's hand into an empty void!

-- By Gabriel Celesta from Holy Nest of Angel on January 22, 2011

***** Just a freaking brutal card! I run these in my B/W Shadow Deck and seldom lose once either this or Sword of Fire and Ice gets equipped. Of course I have Vindicates, PTE's and Diabolic Edicts to help aide the mayhem.

***** It's an amazing card, you don't see everyday a single that can swing the entire game state to your favor. There's a reason why people packed a playset of this even though it's Legendary. At the same time, I think this is one of the most fun cards to play against - it really gets the creative juices flowing how to beat it. It's a real skill tester, dividing the pros from the joes

***** I prefer a flan.

***** My friend runs four of these in his boros deck, and good lord, does it clean house. If you equipt it to a creature with double strike, then that's 4 counters a turn! Or, equip it to a regenerator just so you can add counters every time an absolute rediculous card

-- By Taylor Nottage from Rhode Island on June 26, 2008

*** Ok...I ABSOLUTELY agree with everyone that says this card is conpletely amazing...except first of all, it's legendary, so if someone plays another one while yours is out, you lose all of the counters and have to start over, and it's so incredibly popular that a lot of people have a lot of them... I love me my Jitte.

***** to sum it up, the way of warrior...

-- By Isaac Felarca from Sa town on May 28, 2008

***** Rediculous in any format, absolutely dominates creature based decks, even helps fight burn.

-- By Anonymous from Connecticut, USA on June 09, 2007

***** amazing in extended. white weenie and boros wins in extended wreck with this in play. if your opponent says "fetters the jitte" you say "haha i gain life." they legendary status isn't bad at all and people always say "you can't have two in play." So what?! you don't need two! you can just have SOFI in play, and on a savannah lions, you've got a 4/3 pro red pro blue card drawing, creature pinging, ginormously pumpable ONEDROP. amazing. can't get around the amaziousity.

***** This card is definately amazing but any creature control deck would certainly own this. And with the new spell from dissention that counters a spell with mana cost 2 or less for one mana, i bet they had cards like this in mind when they made that card. Still though its pretty crazy they would make such a card with a set that doesnt have much to destroy artifacts like mirrodin block did. But this does make me think that Mirrodin Block changed the way we play magic more than any other expansion.

***** Absolutely broken. This card is amazing, the possibilities are great, and they only get better. Possibly one of the best cards in casual, use this card with Ohran Viper, and you opponent has a tought time. Or even better, just play a Doubling Season, attach this to a useless token, and gain four counters on it instead of two! that's 8 life +8/+8, or just pick off one of your opponents creatures.

** this card is overrated and only useful if you're already winning. If you have one, trade it for something better.

-- By Joseph Valdez from San Diego, Ca on June 28, 2006

***** hears a little story, Player: plays hypnotic specter Opponent: *wants to smack you* Player: plays fourth land. Plays Jitte. Equips Jitte Opponent: Actually Smacks you. Throws their deck at you. Curses you. Then SB's Pithing needle. Jitte owns. I hate the jitte.

-- By Steven Perez from USA on February 12, 2006

***** Tack this on to a double strike creature and you get an unstopple creature. Thank Ravnicas Boros Legion for this big Standard headache!

-- By Phil from El Paso, TX on January 17, 2006

***** This is one of the greatest cards to type 2

-- By Ryan Marshall from Pa, USA on December 20, 2005

***** all you need to add is coretapper.

-- By Ryan from USa on December 20, 2005

**** this is actually pretty good and the cost especially.

-- By Sage of the Order from Order Headquarters on November 24, 2005

***** this card is amazing, i play it in a white weenie, and at tournaments this card has won me so many games. Two to play two to equip, and you get two tokens each time the equipped creature deals damage. You can wipe out the opposers creatures, pump ur creature up to either deal damage, kill another creature, or just to keep it alive. Amazing card.

-- By Anonymous from Medfield, Ma USA on October 12, 2005

***** This is the newest UBER-BROKEN card in Magic the Gathering, If the creatures does damage, not just to the opponent, but to creatures too, thats two counters! And the options! chump block your hearts desire! 2 counters everytime! Get four counters on it, and you can kill almost any attacker with a blocker, giving it plus 8 plus 8! Gain four life! or kill that 4/4 that you know is haunting your dreams. b-r-o-k-e-n, and not even because of a combo, out of control on its own. use it while unequiped for the latter two! and its better than just mana efficient! everyone get a few, or get beaten by it every game, especially in block play. Side not, look at that price, nobody told them how awesome the card was. worth way more than any patron!

-- By Steve Fish from Wausau, WI USA on March 03, 2005

**** Good for a Type 2 card
