***** I won't say this is a bad deck, in terms of winning, on the contrary it is marvelous, especially with a few tweeks. However, dedicated mill is the most boring win strategy possible. I think that it is uncreative and uninteresting. but if i were to play mill this would be they way to go. Yay wizards, boo milling

**** this deck needs four glimpse the unthinkables. then it's amazing

* This deck sucks

**** I have bought a Dimir deck, and even though it was not what I expected, I fell deeply in love with it as I milled through my friend's decks. (I disrecommend it in multiplayer...got my ass kicked bit time) Honestly Im still trying to improve it, but hey, thats a matter of finding the cards I need. The deck at first is built in two seperate ways, milling and defensive, which makes it effective but limited when you play it without any changes. When you customize it you should make a choice: will you give up the defence to improve the milling or the other way around? In case of milling there are a few simple cards to be put in it: millstones, traumatize, glimpse the unthinkable, (who made up the Twincast??? good thinking, especially with an isochron scepter:P) lobotomist, and perhaps Nemesis of reason. Its done in no-time, but you'll see that all eyes are fixed on you in multiplayer, but hey, thats in about every blue deck:P You can also fix on black, honestly I havent payed much attention on customizing its defence, but I guess there are plenty of cards to annoy your opponent(s) as well. It is a lovely deck I can tell you that, its a fun way of playing (for me, opponents hated it:P) and thats what this is all about. The deck is adjustable in a way that its an asskicking deck without making too many changes, all-in-all its great if you want to play magic in a diffrent way than the usual creature bashing.

***** this deck is awesome, very good. The guy who only gave it one star is a loser, he goes everywhere and just gives bad reviews to decks. TAKE THAT FOO!

**** Great deck, can stand its own even against heavy duty decks. Just needs more mill and removal...... (At the time I am writing this, Shards of Alara and Conflux are popular.) I mainly use Black/Blue decks or special strategy decks (Both of which this fits in). If this was a sealed deck one-match knockout, I would give it 5 stars. It, however, has flaws as important as its advantages. However, there are cards to deal with that these days. Buy this deck! Or else House Dimir will take every secret you hold dear from you! Good day/night!

**** Mill is extreme. It can either suck or dominate. I'm referring to this deck as the latter, just not quite a perfect 5.

***** This deck can kill any deck in magic exept for Golgari Deathcreep, it basicly helps the GolGari Deathcreep deck. I added a few more cards to Frustrate my oppenent even more: Heidar Rimewind Master, Perplex, Phyrexian etchings, Blizzard Specter, Freed from the Real, Coercion, Viscerid Drone, Mind Rot, Unburden, Vampiric Link. An awesome combo to return all your dead creatures back to your hand is, Exhumer Thrull + Call to the Netherworld.

***** I played against this deck unchanged. I had a really good cleric deck which never before lost a game. Sadly i lost all my deck to this deck. I strongly recommend

***** At first i wasnt to excited because for a blue black deck (most are very defensive) i didnt like its strategy. Once u play it ul see how great it is I think its the best of the ravnica set. For a really good kick add a few more pshyic drain and glimse the unthinkable. Also* dont worry about your health. Defensive creatures like belltower sphinx will protect u while u assult ur opponents library.

***** This deck is incredible. Some of the cards in here like Szadek, Lord of Secrets just rip through your opponent's defense. I suggest putting a Pemmin's Aura card in here which you should enchant one of the vedalken entrancers or Szadek. That would not be fun for your opponent, and also add traumatize and Reminisce which really puts the hurt on. I also suggest that you add a Malevont Awaking card so that you can get Szadek and some other important creatures back to you hand because let's face it...none of your opponents are going to want Szadek on the field and are going to save their counterspells just for him. If you want you can also put another Szadek in the deck and a Hall of Mirrors card so that you can put both Szadeks on the field.

***** crazy good! this deck allows milling faster than any other deck made. would be improved with: glimpse the unthinkable raven guild master tower of murmurs etc these all mill 8 or more cards

-- By JL from Los Angeles, CA USA on May 09, 2006

**** This deck by itself probably wont win very many duels, but add a few cards like glimps of the untinkable and dimir lobotomist and your pretty well off. After adding them rely on the transmute ability to bring out the cards you want i also added a couple of hexs and sins of the past to take care of my friends token deck and another transmute card ethereal usher.

-- By Tyler Russ from Tennessee on May 05, 2006

***** Wow I dont really think that this deck is good at first but hey add a few cards and its pretty good plus you get a glimps.

-- By Phil McCracken from Ca, USA on April 10, 2006

**** I love this deck because of the fact that i can burn away the enemys deck with it. My friends dont like it because my brother owns a "golgari deathcreep" deck and my friend, a "charge of the boros" deck. they didn't think that i could beat them but in the end i got my "keeper of secrets" out this made my friend very unhappy. in 3 turns he didn't have a deck to play with. so im gonna give it 4 stars because the monsters are strong but can be hard to get out in the beggining.

-- By Shade from Gardiner, ME USA on March 31, 2006

***** Oh yeah I forgot to mention I like to use the HellDozer to deny my enemy land to play their hand. If you can work with the deck and its abilities its actually very effective. My friends won't even play me anymore if I play this deck.

***** Once I customized my deck to have some good cards this deck is the best I have. You can try to run me down with a vast army but I have some mean creatures to back me up - For example - Zorgoth, a 9/9 defender (you can pay 4 to loose defender) along with followed foot steps (That gives me another Zorgoth every up keep). Aetherial Usher comes in handy because it makes Zorgoth unblockable. And a couple dream leashes to catch you off guard and take away your pretty toys. If you preffer flying I have a couple Nullstone Gargolyes, Belltowers Sphinxes, snitches (I hate that cards name) and of course - Szedek that rediculous vampire guy. Want to go head to head with magic? Thats this decks specialty! I have plenty of counter spell (twisted justice and induce paranoia) kill creature cards - disembole and a nifty hex that takes out six creatures. But the decks real secret is its ability to sink an enemy's deck. induce paranoia, Psychic drain, Valdekan entrancers, Shadow duskmantle, if you damage those sphinxes you get to discard up to five cards and my favorite - tunnel vission. If I play this card you're either very screwed or very lucky. Oh and glimpse the unthinkable is very handy - puts ten cards from your library to your graveyard. Now this deck is not invincible but it'll give you a run for your money.

***** This is one of the best decks in Ravnica and it is very good if you can get the things that you need. Cards that need to be added are: Raven Guild Master Tower of Murmurs Glimpse of the Unthinkable Mischeivious Quanar Then this deck would be perfect

-- By Jonathan Lee from Los Angeles, CA USA on March 01, 2006

***** itz grate

-- By SEX (initials) from ^%$#$^%@ on February 25, 2006

**** I really like this deck. I mean it's not that great by itself but if you put in/take out some cards it's pretty fun. I added 4x Glimpse the Unthinkable, a Twincast, and that Lobotomist guy. I love mill decks!

-- By Spin from Mililani, HI USA on February 23, 2006

**** Actually, I'd give this deck a 3.5 out of five. I think that it is the best out of all of the ravnica decks besides the selesnya deck.

-- By JMB (initials) from Milpitas, Ca USA on February 19, 2006

***** This deck is one of the best from the Ravnica set. Just throw in a couple cards like Circu Dimir Lobotomist, Glimpse the Unthinkable, and Plaigerize and I think it is easily a tournament worthy deck.

-- By Anonymous from Ann Arbor, MI USA on February 14, 2006

***** This is by far the best deck of the Ravinca set out right now. It has a very smart theme and if you just add a few good cards such as dirmir dopplegager, glimpse of the unthinkable, and some of the good spell cards from oddessy your good.

-- By Anonymous from Texas on January 17, 2006

*** This deck is a good one to use on all those annoying prevent damage decks because you can just swith tactics and eliminate their library. unfortunately, if your opponent uses a deck that can get creatures out fast and take you out fast, then your toast. I think the deck is pretty much average.

-- By Anonymous from USA on December 18, 2005

**** I agree that this is one of the better preconstructs that has escaped the nerffers at the company, however there are some cards from previous sets that I could see improving the odds. for example millstones and vedalken entrancer are interchangeable. a one two combo of dimir infiltrator and ninja of deep hours could make it very hard for your opponent to figure out your plans.

-- By Tipulsar85 from dimensional complex Seed on December 13, 2005

**** this deck isnt much good, if you dont buy anything, but if you add few cards as circu the lobotomist or the untinkable or normal dark banishing it becomes a perfect deck with no stops. we tested this with friends, we played boros vs. dimir deck and first the boros won and then after putting light. helix and other good cards into both the dimir won to 15:0 it was great, i like that deck.

-- By Erthainel from Czech Republic, Prague on December 01, 2005

***** I have seen all the pre-constructed decks of ravnica ... i believe that this is the most peculliar deck of all even though , if you know how to play it and by adding a few cards , it becomes a fearsome deck with unbelievable power ... a friend told me that this deck was overpowered by wizards of the coast.... i think that for those who will learn how to play it , it will become the best deck they have seen , with the most unorthodox play that is far effective than others.... im only writting this because the previous rating did not represent the deck .... by a magic player
