GOOD CARD
This card should improve your deck, and is a good card to have in a collection. This card will either improve your deck or your collection. This card is recommended by me. -- By bill albertson from Hamilton, NJ USA on October 06, 2001 |

A cute, fuzzy, cuddley, lovable monkey with a big stick. This great ape also happens to be able to rip off the head of almost anything. Picture a fire dragon getting mutilated by this ball of fuzz. My point is that this is one of my favorite cards. It's very powerful, and can regenerate for just one forest mana. Useful in a deck with Eladamri, Molimo and Multani Maro-Sorcerors, and a whole lotta elves. This is a tournament winning deck and is almost unbeatable if the opponent has forests, which most usually do. Its worth the money. -- By The Holtinater from Somewhere WAAAAY over the rainbow! on May 28, 2002 |

For a green deck this card is a very good greature because cost 4 colorless and two forest, has 6/5 and has regenerate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -- By obituary, celtic frost, manowar, slayer from GREECE on May 29, 2002 |

The best thing about this card is the cost. You can slap it down real early with a green mana deck and it's regen gives most decks a headache trying to get rid of it. The only trouble is no trample, as regen blockers can hold it up indefinitely. This can be solved with masses of green cards. -- By Purple Switch from UK on June 07, 2002 |

I think the ancient silverback is one of the best green creatures in the 7th edition! -- By LS-Shadowdancer from Oerlinghausen, NRW, Ger. on December 09, 2002 |
