As the ruler of an exotic, peace-loving alien race, you will use strategy, diplomacy, your own unique and wonderful alien power, and the dreaded "Cosmic Zap" to bring freedom and enlightenment to all the creatures in the galaxy.
Opposing you are nasty alien monsters (the other players). They will use brute force, treachery, their unnatural alien powers, and the dreaded "Cosmic Zap" to enslave and/or eat all the creatures in the galaxy.
Will the forces of goodness prevail - or will someone else win? The fate of the universe in on your hands.
Cosmic Encounter is the classic science fiction game of bold attacks, compromise, bluff, counter-bluff, shifting alliances, and crafty card-play, as two to four players seek to gain control of the universe. Each player has a unique alien power, giving him a special ability which no other player has. With twenty aliens to choose from, Cosmic Encounter is different each time you play!
