In this fourth supplement for Original Dungeons & Dragons, we see the the monster-like statistics for deities. Within this books also is the Melnibonean mythos, which like the Cthulhu Mythos created legal woes for its successor Deities & Demigods. However, this booklet and Deities & Demigods have very few similarities.

Differences between printings are minor. First and Second Printing do not have the date or printing number on them. The Eighth Printing (from November, 1979) is wrongly labeled as Seventh Printing (which was from April, 1979).
