Add a few Circus, a dash of mirror galleries=18 cards per Glimpse. Niiice. -- By Keira Reeves from Washington DC on October 10, 2005 |

Glimpse + Vulturous Zombie = some serious beats for only 7 mana...great card by itself too... -- By Robb from Massachusetts, USA on October 11, 2005 |

A very powerful spell for only 2 mana, works great with circu, dimir lobotomist but try with Twincast to nearly deck your opponent. 60 cards minus 7 for their draw and 4 to 5 turns in the game (deck now has about 48 cards)leaves them with only about 28 cards. Play Tramatize before this to end the game! -- By Dbmgamer from Louisburg, N.C. on October 13, 2005 |

Amazingly Hilarious, I want to see this in the metagame. If there is a solid deck out there around this card I want to find it. I have seen many decks with this card, but nothing with a good win record. If one pops up, then I will immediately play it. -- By Leadster817 from Cincinnati, OH USA on November 03, 2005 |

In my mill deck I use Glimpse with 4 Twincasts and 4 Forks. You can't forget the Traumatizes and Haunting Echoes. Add a few Dampen Thoughts and Vision Charms and look out!!!!!! It's all over!!!! -- By Fots from Providence, RI on November 09, 2005 |

THis card is awsome!!! This can be used as a combo with Cloudstone Curio so you can just play another sorcery and keep getting it back!!!! its a quick win. -- By blink_41 from Pittsburg, PA on November 27, 2005 |

I use this with meloku, since i have only 1 twincast. Same basic effect aside from bouncing the land back to your hand, pay 6 mana, bounce four lands, and mill 40 cards, sounds like a deal. -- By bhuddah from Chicago on December 09, 2005 |

i've long been a fan of mill decks, this card plus a few other from ravinca set could actual give mill decks a decent shot in the tourney scene. -- By biff from in my den. on December 16, 2005 |

this and a panoptic mirror: dead opponent(s) -- By Anonymous from yuppieland on February 07, 2006 |

Glimpse + Panoptic Mirror with Brain Freeze + Isochron Sceptor. Minimum of 16 cards of top per turn -- By Brad from Louisiana on March 24, 2006 |

Just imagine this card with Debtor's Knell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!If they discarded something really good, you could gain control of it!Insane card for the mana. -- By FatFace from Fort Bragg,CA on March 26, 2006 |

Just picture this card with Panoptic Mirror or Djinn Illuminatus. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet.................. -- By Anonymous from Menlo Park, CA USA on April 04, 2006 |

Amazingly powerful. a must be for any and all blue black decks. can you say djinn illuminatus!!! -- By Lonnie from Cali on April 09, 2006 |
|
Awesome card, only thing that is better than a Glimpse is a counter of any one of the 20 kinds there are, same goes for Traumatize .. and definately Twincast it, or use Uyo, Silent Prophet to bounce lands and copy it, or just bounce about 10 islands and deck them one turn.. pimp stuff... -- By nick shamas from san antonio, tx usa on April 09, 2006 |
|
.. and as far as the opponent not being able to retrieve the cards from the graveyard, I would use Tormod's Crypt, but since I play type 2, I use Leyline of the Void (sideboarded of course) -- By nick shamas from san antonio, tx usa on April 09, 2006 |

This card is good, but you can't just rely upon it alone. UB-B millstone decks now have a massive acclerator but only if they play other support cards alongside them. Oh FYI make sure to run at least two if your budget can afford it, for otherwise it is a space holder. -- By Charles Burns from Mesquite, TX USA on April 11, 2006 |

Absolutely Godly............ Works out lovely with Mesmoric Orb............ Loving it! Keep a Darksteel Colosses to stay alive if u play like me. LOL.......... -- By Big Jay from Birmingham, Alabama on May 16, 2006 |

CHEAP!!!! -- By Anonymous from berlin,Germany on November 23, 2006 |

Haunting echoes and that card from planar chaos for one black mana that removes all cards in an opponent's hand, library, graveyard from the game. That will be insane. -- By Anonymous from Everywhere on January 26, 2007 |

for those of you who are T2 players like me, consider this + extirpate in say a dralnu type deck... -- By Jared Gardner from Raleigh, NC on February 27, 2007 |

Mill has never been the greatest of strategies, and while this card does speed up the process it never truly gets rid of threats. Granted this card is great in casual, but it's rarely seen play in tournament level. Playing this card is a risk. You could potentially remove a threat from their library, or you could accelerate their Akroma out when they choose to reanimate. If you play this card, you need to back it up with other cards that completely remove the card forever, such as Leyline of the Void. -- By Trevor from Boise, ID on March 04, 2007 |

I have these in a deck with Panoptic Mirrors, Isochron Scepters, and Izzet Guildmages (backed up with Heartstones). -- By Robert Teves from Gainesville, FL on April 19, 2007 |

Awesome card, very flexible, low mana curve. Nice combo with Twincast, plays nice with Mystical Tutor (Fork combo overrated unless you're playing B/R/U).
Interesting possibilities with Doomsday, Altar of Dementia, 4x Nether Shadow? -- By AtriumXP from Pawtucket, RI on May 21, 2007 |

while trading for my 3rd Glimpse, i figgured this card would probly be Restricted...1/6 a full deck for 2 mana, play set puts 2/3rd of the opponents library in the graveyard, hmmm try win with only 20 cards, 13 after yer opening hand... seems too powerfull...lucky, kinda, MillDecks were not supported too much and Glimpse dodged the restriction... not used on the pro-tour at all, it flew under the radar, in great control colors too! Many uses for the card....though there's alot of 'Hate' cards vs mill decks, Feldons Cane, Loaming Shamen, many others, list goes on...great art...i swear this card is worthy of "Restriction"...maybe if enough of us start packin a play set in our U/B decks, someone, much smarter/better at magic then i, will break the card...and will force its restriction, then we can all (who played with it), say "I knew it was a broken card!", and feel smart...and feeling smart is cool. Best price here in T&T...get em before they are hot :) -- By SK3 from NAS Whidbey on September 12, 2007 |

Great part of any mill deck. Buddy who commented before is incorrect, Sorcery is not a permanent type, you cannot return it with Cloudstone Curio, it does not work in any way. -- By Justin Kwong from New York, NY USA on October 24, 2007 |

This with Djinn Illuminatus... -- By Anonymous from New York on November 07, 2007 |

this card is so good....u can combine it with the card nilith i think thats what its name is...any way its a 4/4 fear with suspend 2 for 7 turns or it costs 6 and it says whenever a card is put in the grave from anywhere take a time counter off of it so u can suspend for 2 play glimpse 10 cards off ur opponents deck and it comes into play 4/4/ fear haste. -- By John from Humble, Tx USA on December 05, 2007 |
|
This card is amazing here is 1 use for it : suspend a card called nihilith for 7 turns for 1 generic and 1 black (a 4/4 fear horror creature ) no nihilith's ablility is whenever a card is put into a graveyard form anywhere take a time counter off. so....for 4 mana u suspend it play glimpse it comes into play 4/4 fear and....suspended cards get haste when they come into play....so can you say?....take 4!! In all serousness this card was well made...the only thing that could possibly make it better is if it was an instant not a sorcery. -- By John from Texas on December 19, 2007 |

This card is fantastic. On its own, draining the opponent's deck of ten cards is a nifty and potent tool, but when comboed with other cards, it becomes nothing short of unfair. I use this in my Black-Blue deck alongside a pair of Mirari and killing off a third of the opponent's deck for 5 Mana is just wrong. Another neat option is Panoptic Mirror from Darksteel, which allows you to imprint and copy Glimpse the Unthinkable every Upkeep. -- By Brian from Saginaw, Texas on December 22, 2007 |

At the shadowmoor pre-release I pulled something I though to be amazing. a mill 4 for 1 with conspire. i thought this was the most ludacrously undercosted card i have ever seen.
then i bought my first ravnica booster.
this card will change your life. seriously.
now I need three more of all of these. you wont even need the twincasts or other shenanagins. a possible 64 cards milled for tapping 8 creatures and 12 mana. extended mill is just silly now. -- By Anonymous from pittsburgh on April 25, 2008 |
