The ASL Starter Kit #1 is a stand alone game, with two geomorphic 8"x22" "ASL style" mapboards on a heavy cardstock base and six scenarios using just the two maps and counters provided in the module.

The two mapboards also work with both Squad Leader and ASL, and the scenarios can be played with the ASL rules.
