Gellidus, known to some as "Frost," is the last remaining dragon overlord upon the face of Krynn. This terrifying foe plans to achieve ultimate power through the dark magic of his dead cousins. Only the bravery and sacrifice of heroes will be able to stop the monstrous wyrm. Price of Courage embraces the tradition of Dragonlance adventures by concluding the three-part story arc that began with Key of Destiny and continued in Spectre of Sorrows.

The adventure will feature a cover painting by Jeff Easley and continue the adventure begun in the previous installments or can be a launch point for new adventures with high-level characters. It requires the d20 System core rulebooks and the Dragonlance Campaign Setting from Wizards of the Coast, though play is enhanced by using the Age of Mortals sourcebook and Bestiary of Krynn from Sovereign Press. The story features familiar places and characters in the world of Krynn, and brings the Age of Mortals adventure trilogy to an epic conclusion.
