This valuable addition to the Settlers of Catan games exponentially expands the possibilities well beyond scenarios in Seafarer's and the Cities and Knights expansion. Variants from different designers vary from minor, but substantial, variations to continental excursions that are far different from the original flavor. Who hasn't wanted to actually move a boat across a sea and perhaps even transport a cargo? Two plus years after purchasing this book and box of new counters, number chips and more we still haven't finished playing every variant. Written in German, there is an English-translation booklet that translates the game scenarios only. Extra chapters on strategies and more are not translated in the edition we published.
