The Tower Itself sometimes has broken pegs where the Tower Piece connects to the Base. This doesn't affect the game play but it is an annoyance. I was an avid fan of this game when it first came out. I own a working model of the game for many, many years. I purchased it when it first came out in 1981. It was one of my favorites. I left it at a friend's home and she left the state. She left it with her daughter who happened to leave the area and I lost contact with her. I left it at my friend's home back in the year 1993 and/or 1994. I have often thought of what it would be worth now if I still had the same original game. I am 59 years old and still think about Dark Tower. I was glad to see that it is now available on Flash Play.

Hi from the UK.
This game is a classic. My wife and I were introduced to it by good friends in 1981/2, I seem to recall it was expensive then. Not many sold I assume.
Our game has survived 2 sons and only last sunday, 10th October 2009, our eldest investigated it as it hadn't worked well the last time it was out of the box. Well he an Electronics student in his last year and guess what......he's got it working like new.
The joy of hearing the 1980's electronic sounds again we had a great time, getting lost, caught by the dragon and suffering plague. Oh my wife won. That was just an aside!!
Keep the faith and get those Brigands.
