Air Cav is a two-player game of modern and future tactical helicopter warfare that feature a movement and combvat system which promotes quick, exciting play. Air Cav accurately simulates the versatility, manuverability, and hard-hitting fighting power of modern combat helicopters.
Then eight Standard and two Campaign Scenarios examine possible future actions in two of the world's most volatile hot-spots--Western Europe and the Middle East. The players experience opposing US and Soviet doctrines: The US Army's new hit hard and maneuver philosophy and the Soviet concept of massive thrusts on a wide front. Does sophisticated NATO technology provide means to counter tremendous numerical odds? Detailed Data Cards allow players to employ the latest (and future) weaponry to find out.
The standard game of Air Cav can be learned in less tha nan hour and played in 30 to 90 minutes. The game0system is simple, but with the Data Cards, and incredible wealth of detail is integrated. The Advanced Game allows additional complexity and realism adding rules that deal with off-board artillery, laser0guided munitions, electronic vision equipment, fire controls, random events, and more. The Advanced Game scenarios can be completed in one and a half to four hours. |
