The Necronomicon, an image of the law of the dead, as described by HP Lovecraft as written by the mad Arab Abdul Alhazred. It describes how to summon the Old Ones. This faithful adaptation, designed by Ron Spencer, is modified slightly for younger audiences. Note the squeaker on page 3, and the gloved hand for rolling human bones on page 5. This extreme high quality, collectible book, has detailed and interactive features on 6 different pages, 4 inside plus the front and back covers. It will only be printed once, and is limited to only 1200 pieces across all universes.

Plus Necronomicon is a good plushy, it goes well with my Cthulhu and Super Chtulhus. It smells nice and leathery which befits an aldrich book. When plush Cthulhu got it for his birthday he loved it. -- By Lisa B. from Telford, Shropshire. on May 28, 2007 |

Little did fed-ex know what they transported in good faith could well bring about the restoration of the star-born Old Ones when all laws will be thrown aside and there will be shouting and killing and revelling in joy with all the earth aflame in a holocaust of ecstasy and freedom....
.....or maybe it will just sit on my shelf with plush Cthulhu perched on top.
What a fantastic plush. I didn't expect the enormous size of it but the sheer quality is more than I could have hoped for. It's all beautifully made and bound in (fake?) leather finish with an effective velcro clasp. Once inside each of the, admittedly few, pages is an absolute delight. From opening the monstrous carved portal at R'lyeh to sticking your hand inside a Shoggoth via Azathoth's squeaker and Shub Niggurath's "attachments" the attention to detail and quality of construction is never less than impressive.
Possibly the most dangerously original plush in our doomed universe. -- By kemmysunshine from Canterbury UK on August 31, 2008 |
