Because it's the second options, I give it 3 stars. This card is better than pain lands in some way... that can be fetched and the pain only 2 Life. But this card can't be used if you playing deck in the vintage.... It's cost too much Life Points if you bring six even eight of shock land type...

This is the second best options to a dual land. You can play shock lands tapped to avoid damage, even with the damage it is still better than pain lands. You can also search your library for them with Onslaught fetch lands.
