* Uhhh, thats what I thought at first...but the life payment is an ADDITIONAL COST. You need the mana, too.

***** I do agree that this is an over-looked card. As for the quote stating "...you still the mana...", honestly dude, if you have trouble coming up with 1 mana in a deck you should seriously re-consider your deck.

** It is a good card, to get rid of some extra mana, but you have to pay "X" mana equal to "X" life some people don't quite understand that.
