Against dredge strategies he pwns, and he's a great late-game spell in a slow G/U/W deck. He thickens your deck with Cryptics, Wrath of Gods, or whatever other key spells you want to reuse. he's also fine in your own dredge deck: if you keep on dredging and dredging and dredging your library can start looking pretty puny...putting cards that are useless in your 'yard back into your deck is not bad at all. He's also a 3/2, which, against aggro, won't do you much good, but against another control deck, if you have enough support to back him up, he can go, well...maybe not all the way, but...a 3/2 isn't terrible. gosh.

Very nice on its own, and combines very well in a tribal deck with the Odyssey block centaurs whose ability requires you to discard a card.

This card is an excellent card that can complement pretty much any deck. It lets you shuffle your graveyard back into your library. If you have luck on your side and are running two of these through your deck, you can be almost unstoppable. Also, if you are up against a deck that gets better the more cards are in their graveyard, you just make them shuffle all of it back into their library. Effective against a card with good Threshold abilities.
