Great spell for early game-- can be a time walk. This is also great in a counterspell war, since it counters mana leak, remand, rune snag, etc for just one blue. Stops aggro from gaining control early, and allows you to get another move on board first. Can't be remanded safely. 1-mana counterspells that are situational in some form (i.e. in terms of what they affect) are useful atleast as SB options.
