A little on the slow side, But still quite versatile to say the least. I give this deck a 3 out of 5. -- By master shoe from Albuquerque, NM USA on October 07, 2006 |

The deck its self is not that impresseve but it is the second best deck to build on.this deck is only topped by the sliver deck. ery good if you put some work in to it. -- By Mickl Hackett from ohio on November 30, 2006 |

Im usually hard on deck reviews, this one earns it's 4. Straight from the box it is slow but gains it's momentum and can dominate. With a Savra or two and Doubling season this deck becomes the best B/G deck i've played since i started magic. Look to Golgari and Selesnya from the Ravnica block for some good additions for a Standard deck. -- By Drew from Huntsville, AL USA on December 28, 2006 |

This is a great beginning to a very good deck. Add some more spells to help protect against flying and it rocks. -- By Kujo from your moms house on December 30, 2006 |

This Deck is the imperial speed deck. Not only does it provide strong creatures while speedingly creating 1/1 saprolings, but it also gives you the edge by using black destruction cards. Although old, cards like echoing courage will help your saprolings enourmously, you should add at least 2 into this deck. -- By Anonymous from Johannesburg, Gauteng, RSA on January 16, 2007 |

This deck is great. If you can get a few thallids out by around turn 5 you will win 99% of the time. The saproling wave is unstoppable. -- By Ricky Martinez from Cleveland, OH USA on April 12, 2007 |

Ever try fusing with a sliver deck? get small slivers out, then put out the thallids to start getting saps. Here is the good part use a hivestone, turns all your creatures into slivers in addittion to the original type. Saps with sliver abilities(doubling season for extra fun ^.-). Drawback is how fast it is(use gemhide for maximum results). By the way if you want the best this combo has to offer use to Hivestone and throw in 2 homing slivers(future sight) and a Sliver Legion{Coat of Arms effect}. Note:Legions also comes from Future Sight. -- By Thor from Millville, Hawaii UK on May 16, 2007 |

This deck is good for parts, especially the Pendelhaven, which makes a great early game combo with Darksteel Garrison. this deck will be the seed of many others. -- By John from everywhere and nowhere on July 09, 2007 |

Straight out of the box the deck takes a little getting used to. Depending on how the first two turns work out you can embark on an overall strategy that crushes every other deck in six or seven turns with the exception of the Sliver Deck. And even there, should one employ the time honoured maxim that the best way to kill a snake is to cut off it's head and keep the opponents sliver count to between zero and two you can win most games. And if the slivers get ahead of you, pray for the Shell Thalids and pump them up. Eventually you will have a bullwark of defense even the Sliver deck will have a hard time circumventing while you still deal mercilless, mindless, and unceasing damage to your opponent. Spirit Loop is your bane! Fallen Idol your salvation! Heed these words and all the world will tremble at the healthy servings of Salad, er, Thallid you will deliver each play! -- By Artorius from Hamilton, On CAN on September 17, 2007 |
