This card is super to have on hand Like having a Gaya’s Blessing in an off color deck just for its preventative abilities. While not on the same level, having one of these in the yard is entirely useful in specific situations. Also check out An-Zerrin Ruins, though that one is more weird and less useful cuz it can’t easily be used from the yard. -Peach -- By Buddy Sasquach from Houghton, MI, USA on January 22, 2007 |

I only give it 4 stars because the combos you can pull off with it are relatively limited. Combines excellently with Sky Swallower or Starke of Rath, though. And it's 4/4 for 4 mana, which ain't bad at all. -- By Will B. Staples from Springfield, MA USA on August 14, 2007 |

Interesting card, satisfying in terms of power/toughness and mana cost but quite useless for most types of decks. Its only potential could be shown mostly against a black deck which is made to "steal" your opponent's creatures, usually from his/her graveyard. -- By Alucard from Greece on December 23, 2007 |
