This is probably the best common card in the whole set!!! having 3 toughness makes it just that much harder to kill. I love this card!!!!!!! (It kicked ass at the pre release) -- By Anonymous from Chapel Hill, NC USA on February 23, 2002 |

IF you have 4 of these no matter what you win.... dont believe me??? when no creatures are out cast 1 faceless butcher then cast the 2nd one removing the first... then cast a 3rd and final one removing the 2nd butcher and it keeps going and going forever so its a TIE BOO YAH -- By BOB DOLE from Hell on October 09, 2002 |

Good, but not that good. If you're talking current Type II, then yeah, I see what the fuss is. If you're talking Magic in general, Faceless Butcher is just average. Black has always been known for awesome creatures, and this creature does not deserve five stars. Get real. -- By Anonymous from Milwaukee WI, USA on November 14, 2002 |

Yeah, this card rules, ecspecially when combined with Merciless Fiend, Gravegourger and other Nightmares in the Torment Set. The 3/3 thing just makes it better. -- By Glitch the Almighty from Canton, CT USA on January 25, 2004 |

I use it in my U/B Braids Deck and it really is a key card. In my opinion it's better than Royal Assassin. -- By Scuba from Wellsburg,WV USA on April 22, 2004 |
