Although not the best way to solidify your mana base, this card works great if you want to splash in a 3rd or 4th color, and works well in 3 color decks, giving them the mana diversity to case multi-coloroed spells before they have to start casting spells to solidify their mana base. I think that City of Brass, however, would be a better choice. -- By Jeremy Dambach from Jewett City, CT USA on February 07, 2001 |

This sucka is an excellent card in a fast multi-colored combo deck where you probly wont be using it very many times before you fire off the combo. -- By Mr. ILoveTokens from Sandy, Utah on December 20, 2001 |

play two of these in a five-color 1.5 deck. i've enjoyed this land ever since it came out and have always wondered a bit why it wasn't more expensive. since that's how i'm gauging it popularity. anyway, i've enjoyed it over the years and even more when 'mox diamond' was allowed in 1.5 play. but it isn't, so we have to move on.
in conclusion, an excellent land worth a looksee and a couple or four might help smooth out the rough edges that are hurting so bad on your mana curve. ciao! -- By Anonymous from gainesville, FL USA on April 02, 2005 |
