**** wow! a real steal for the price listed here as of this writing. now on to the card... a real tour de force for which i can honestly take no credit for putting in my 1.5 monoblack deck. i play (as of now) eight 1.5 decks, and i can say no card has surprised me more and quite pleasantly so. i suppose in hindsight it becomes a little more obvious but still...originally, put it in my deck to have a nice little triangle with 'rotlung reanimator' and 'nevinyrral's disk.' now that IS still in my deck and working quite well. also, allowed me to more easily play 'nether spirit' with other creatures. usually doesn't work out that way, but in this case, it did. anyway, what i probably didn't realize is that the better the competitor you're dueling with the more multifaceted the cards (and maybe themes plural) in his deck tend to be. consciously or not, better players tend to conserve card advantage in many ways. one of these ways is by utilizing cards that are still useful in your graveyard in some way(and there are so many i'm not going to list them here). suffice it to say, it was a real eye opener for me and probably made me a better player at the end of the day. all by playing this bum. oh yeah, get the 'legions' foil as the DCI version looks like doodee in comparison(at least in my humble opinion).............

**** Awesome. Even if you don't need it's ability, a black 2/2 for 2 manna is always good.
