***** Perhaps a bit underrated by some. I mean, if you convert your own Land to Land Creatures, they become easier to destroy. However... You can combine this with a Cytoplast Manipulator in a green/blue deck to actually grab lands from your opponents. "I pay two colorless. That land of yours is now a 2/2 Land Creature with a +1/+1 counter on it... I pay one blue and tap Manipulator. I'll just take that, thank you!" (Note that it doesn't even have to be a basic land. Any type of land goes. And so what if your opponent uses neither green nor blue, your opponent loses land, and you can still tap them to pay off colorless mana costs.)
