Kaivai was one of the spielfriek's highlights at last year's Essen show. As previously announced, the Ostertag brothers are working on a Kavai expansion which is nearly complete and will be released at Essen '06. New additions include three new types of huts which let players get a new type of influence, a new stable currency in the form of pearls and a new way of initiating a Festival. The expansion will likely be highly limited.
