Love this guy! Just LOVE HIM! 5/5 forest-walking-kitty-making basher, combine him with Raksha and get a 7/7 forest-walking-kitty-making-double-striking basher. Not just that, but the combos just keep coming! Yavimaya Dryad makes this sooo much better, add a mass hysteria (if your risky) or (if you like garbage) add In the Web of War with Breath of Fury for an infinite combo. Also to make this guy SOO much more deadlier give him vigilance...with Vigilance or some other fun stuff for making kitties while attacking and blocking. Now you got a 5/5 or 7/7 forest-walking-kitty-making-double-striking-vigilance(y?) basher. Why am i telling you guys all about him? to expensive for its stats and needs an heavy or mono green deck to work and is a real nightmare to have stolen. it has the second weekest evasion behind tramble (if you consider trample evasion at all) plush it seems to want to go in a different direction than green is going with timbermare and groundbreaker and uktabi drake and giant solifuge. it is slow and hard to get working pluse most decks play faster or have answers to this by turn six the most promising interaction is with yavimaya dryad and that is again slow. to follow some very good advice don't get caught up in the cool things that your deck can do. this is a win more card, or in constructed a dead space, I think that it has some draft potential but it would not fit in to the new green or scryb force. cool art though. really a 2.5 but I don't have that option -- By Anonymous from Oakland CA USA on February 09, 2007 |

You can win with this guy the third turn after you get him out, if your playing a deck with forest in it. heres how
Your playing with your Grull deck. You play Jedit. (first turn)
Second turn you attack with him, he's unblockable, you hit them and make a kitty.
Third turn, you attach Breath of Fury to one of your cat warriors, attack with jedit, make another cat, attack with the cat with breath of fury, he deals damage, sacrifice him and attach breath of fury to the new cat you just made this turn. And now that you get another combat phase, he doesn't have summoning sickness. endless attack phases.
Hows that for a deadly combination. -- By troy n from minnesota on April 01, 2007 |
