I wonder if the saying "Once you go black, you dont go back" really goes with this...or is even suitable at this moment. Well anyway this card by my own experience is near broken, if they kept the same mana cost as the regular mirri, then it would be broken. Think about it! A Dark-Ritual-ing-Turn-One Vampire Kitty kat! But i guess we have to settle with turn two (or still turn one if have more than one dark ritual in your hand, if you like the mana burn). Anyway, any vampire that only needs to deal damage for +1/+1 counters is a shoe-in, and it gets all the sweeter when you add first strike to the mix, now you got an even bigger chance of killing a creature and getting counters. The double-black cost makes me wanna not put her in my WBG reanimator deck but im still going to try! -- By Anonymous from in front of his computer on January 27, 2007 |

HOLY CRAP! This is dangerous, a mono-black hasted, first-strikin, flying spirit monger(3/2 mind you) which swiss bank account should I wire my soul to? Also like the monger even with out tha first-strike you gain the counter immediately which can and will save your vampire tabby from taking the dirt nap. I want chicken, I want liver, meow-mix meow-mix please deliver. This could be hello-kitty the cursed and I would still want a few copies, if only it wasnt legendary, oh-well its one of those cards that actually deserves that arch-type. -- By Dustin Ethridge from Dacula, GA USA on September 10, 2007 |

Can you say too fast. . .a vampire that grows and grows as it sucks the living heck out of its blockers. . .and if its too small to go at a blocker even with its first strike ability you can use viridian longbow to deal damage to an opponent without touching it until its big enough to handle any blocking opponent. . . if only it had vigilance. . . but still. . .I would call this card as one of the G.O.A.T's. . .the Greatest Of All Time. . . -- By Anonymous from Nowhere,USA on December 19, 2007 |

Although I like this card, it isn't as good as you might think it is. The 4 mana is a bit of a turn down and it's ability to gain +1/+1 isn't as helpful as you might think. The effect barely ever comes in handy as when people block it, they block it to kill, not only that but it dies to 2 dmg burn. The flying, first strike and haste is nice but it still isn't that good, 4 mana for a 3/2? The +1/+1 would be way better if it worked more like a slith. -- By Ida Corr from Toronto on February 04, 2008 |

Unless she's up against another first/double striker, she will always be a 4/3 by the time her opponents damage is assigned. Veterans will know how the first Mirri can change games with her plethora of abilities, this one is even better. -- By Eli from gmkfkj jkf on April 08, 2008 |
