Blue Serra Angel, sounds cool at first right? While this card does bring back memories of when Serra Angel used to be really good, there are just better beatsticks available in blue. (Morphling anyone?) At its core this card is essentially an Air Elemental with Vigilance. This isn't a bad card at all, but there are just a lot of things in blue that outclass this card. -- By Trevor from Boise, ID on February 15, 2007 |

i totally agree... MORPHLING is way better than this guy. the previous comment was put rather wll and to the point... lets go fish out GILDED DRAKE!!! Gilded Drake was sooo much better than this creature... just way more blue creatures that surpass this Sphinx. -- By Y2E from Durrty South, MS on March 16, 2007 |

First, tho it's not exactly excellent, the vigilance helps. Second, greater morphling beats morphling. Third, who cares if it is legal to use or not!!! Fourth, standard legal can use this card, g. morphling, morphling, and gilded drake can't. when stripped of most cards, u must take what u can get. -- By Luca Fregusy from Transylvania on May 05, 2007 |

If you have a problem with this card, you don't get magic. 5 for a 4/4 flier is good. Add vigilance and it is wonderful.
And as far as calling it a copy, well duh! It is an alternate version of Serra Angel.
You look at a card based off the rules of magic. Fliers cost more usually, because they have flying. So once again this card is good. Granted it's nothing new. But it's still a good card. -- By Seth from Florida on April 11, 2008 |
