I think, it is a good core set, if you look on the gameplay, but I think, there are missing harder land destroying spells. Obliterate (Sorcery. Mana cost: 6 colourless and 2 red mana. Obliterate can't be countered. Destroy all artifacts, creatures, and lands. They can't be regenerated.) from Invasion was in the 8th edition core set. Obliterate was one of most powerfull spells ever made in Magic The Gathering. Wrath of God is more known, but weaker than Obliterate. I think, it was a shame, Obliterate was taken out of the core set. There is another thing I don't like with the 10th edition core set. I don't like Birds of Paradise, Wrath of God and other old cards have change pictures. I think, all cards there is left from Alpha and Beta must have the original picture, and all cards from other expantions must have the original picture, to keep the core set classic. I think, it is good to have a blackbordered core set again. Another good thing is that, it is easy to learn to play magic for beginners with this core set. 3 stars to the 10th edition core set.
